The DAN-LOC BOLT GASKET 000-10-075 is a fully threaded stud machined from alloy steel to ASTM A193 B7 material grade. It carries a 1-1/4-8 thread profile and measures 7.5 inches overall length with an uncoated plain finish. Because the entire shank is threaded, the stud accepts nuts at both ends, making it suitable for through-bolting flanges, pressure vessels, and structural assemblies where a standard cap screw cannot reach. The B7 grade alloy steel provides the elevated tensile strength and temperature resistance required in demanding industrial and mechanical applications. Typical installers include pipefitters, millwrights, and industrial maintenance technicians.
This stud is used in bolted flange connections on piping systems, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and heavy mechanical assemblies. The 1-1/4-8 Unified National Coarse thread series is a standard designation in ASME B18.31.2 stud bolt applications, making this part a common replacement or new-installation component in oil, gas, chemical, and HVAC mechanical rooms where high-strength fasteners are specified. The uncoated finish is compatible with field-applied lubricants and anti-seize compounds as required by the application.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fastener for bolted flange assemblies, pressure vessels, and structural connections requiring 1-1/4-8 fully threaded studs in B7 alloy steel.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter, millwright, or mechanical technician in accordance with applicable codes such as ASME PCC-1 for pressure boundary bolted flange joint assembly. Depressurize, de-energize, and isolate the system before removing or installing stud bolts. Apply a compatible anti-seize compound to the threads as specified by the flange joint procedure. Do not impact-drive the stud into tapped holes; use a stud driver or double-nut method to achieve proper seating depth.
