The DAN-LOC BOLT GASKET 000-09-100 is a fully threaded stud machined from alloy steel to ASTM A193 Grade B7 specifications. The stud measures 10 inches overall length with a 1-1/8-8 unified coarse thread along its entire length, providing uniform clamping and maximum engagement flexibility for flanged joints, pipe connections, and structural assemblies. The uncoated finish is standard for industrial and high-temperature applications where coatings may be unsuitable. At 3.83 pounds, this is a heavy-duty fastener suited for high-load bolting in process piping, pressure vessel, and mechanical equipment installations.
This stud is used in industrial and commercial applications requiring a strong, corrosion-resistant threaded fastener. Typical installations include flanged pipe connections in HVAC, plumbing, and process piping systems, as well as pressure vessel and equipment mounting assemblies. The Grade B7 alloy steel construction makes it appropriate for elevated temperature and high-pressure service environments where standard carbon steel fasteners are insufficient. Installation is typically performed by pipefitters, millwrights, or mechanical contractors working to ASME or ANSI flange bolting standards.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use fastener for flanged pipe assemblies, pressure vessels, and mechanical equipment requiring a 1-1/8-8 fully threaded stud in alloy steel Grade B7.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter, millwright, or mechanical contractor following applicable ASME B16.5 or equipment manufacturer torque and bolting procedures. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or replacing any flange fasteners. Use appropriate thread lubricant or anti-seize compound as specified by the flange or equipment manufacturer. Inspect threads for damage before installation and replace any stud that shows signs of galling, corrosion, or deformation.
