The DAN-LOC BOLT GASKET 000-08-075 is a fully threaded stud machined from Grade B7 alloy steel with a plain uncoated finish. The stud measures 7.5 inches overall length and carries a 1-8 thread designation, meaning a 1-inch nominal diameter with 8 threads per inch (UNC coarse thread). B7 alloy steel is a chromium-molybdenum material well suited for high-temperature and high-pressure bolting applications. The uncoated finish is standard for industrial fastener stock and is compatible with most thread lubricants and anti-seize compounds used in the trade. This stud is installed by pipefitters, millwrights, and industrial maintenance technicians in flanged joint and structural bolting assemblies.
This fully threaded stud is used in flanged pipe connections, pressure vessel bolting, heat exchanger assemblies, and heavy industrial structural applications where high-strength fasteners are required. The 1-8 coarse thread pattern is the standard for 1-inch diameter bolting hardware in ASME and ANSI flanged systems. It is appropriate for both ambient and elevated temperature service environments where Grade B7 material is specified by engineering standards or code requirements.
Designed as a standard replacement or new-install fully threaded stud for industrial flanged piping systems, pressure vessel assemblies, and structural bolting applications requiring 1-8 UNC coarse thread hardware in Grade B7 alloy steel.
Installation is performed by licensed pipefitters, millwrights, or industrial maintenance technicians. De-energize, depressurize, and isolate the system before removing or installing flange fasteners. Apply an approved anti-seize or thread lubricant per the applicable flange assembly standard before torquing. Follow ASME PCC-1 or the applicable engineering specification for bolt torque sequence and values - do not estimate torque without referencing the project specification.
