The DAN-LOC BOLT GASKET 000-06-065 is a fully threaded stud manufactured from Grade B7 alloy steel with an uncoated plain finish. The stud measures 6-1/2 inches overall length with a 3/4-10 unified coarse thread form running the full length of the fastener. Fully threaded studs are used where two threaded connection points are required, eliminating the need for a bolt head on either end. Grade B7 alloy steel provides high tensile strength and is a standard specification material for industrial flange assemblies, pressure vessel connections, and structural bolting. The plain uncoated finish is suitable for applications where coatings would interfere with dimensional tolerances or where field plating is applied post-assembly.
This stud is intended for industrial and mechanical trade applications where a headless, double-ended fastener is required. Typical install scenarios include bolting flanged pipe connections, assembling heat exchanger components, securing equipment bases, and constructing structural frames where nut-and-stud configurations are preferred over standard hex-head bolts. Plumbers, pipefitters, millwrights, and mechanical contractors commonly use Grade B7 fully threaded studs in high-pressure and high-temperature piping systems where ASME and ANSI flange specifications apply.
Designed as an OEM-style fully threaded stud for industrial flanged piping, pressure vessel, and structural bolting applications requiring 3/4-10 thread size and Grade B7 alloy steel material specification.
Installation of fully threaded studs should be performed by qualified pipefitters, millwrights, or mechanical contractors following applicable ASME, ANSI, or facility torque and bolt-up procedures. De-energize and depressurize any system before removing or installing fasteners in a live assembly. Use appropriate thread lubricant or anti-seize compound as required by the applicable flange specification, and confirm thread engagement depth meets design requirements before torquing nuts. Inspect threads for damage or contamination before installation.
