The DAN-LOC BOLT GASKET 000-06-040 is a fully threaded stud machined from Grade B7 alloy steel with an uncoated plain finish. It features a 3/4-10 UNC thread form running the full length of a 4-inch overall length body. Fully threaded studs are used in flanged joint assemblies, structural bolting, and heavy equipment fastening where a nut is required on both ends. The B7 material grade indicates chromium-molybdenum alloy steel heat-treated to meet ASTM A193 mechanical requirements, making this stud suitable for high-strength and moderate-temperature applications. Licensed tradespeople and maintenance technicians working in industrial, process piping, and mechanical assembly environments are the primary installers.
This stud is suited for bolting flanged pipe connections, pressure vessel covers, machinery bases, and structural connections requiring a full-thread grip across the entire fastener length. The 3/4-10 thread size is a coarse UNC designation common in industrial piping and equipment service. The 4-inch overall length accommodates standard flange thicknesses with sufficient thread engagement on both ends. It is sold individually and is appropriate for both original equipment assembly and field replacement work.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or maintenance stud for industrial flange assemblies, pressure vessel bolting, and mechanical equipment applications requiring 3/4-10 UNC fully threaded fasteners.
Installation should be performed by a qualified millwright, pipefitter, or mechanical technician following applicable codes such as ASME B31.3 for process piping or the equipment manufacturer's torque specifications. De-energize, depressurize, and isolate the system completely before removing or installing flange studs. Use calibrated torque tools and apply fastener lubricant as required by the joint specification. Do not mix grade designations within a single bolted joint assembly.
