The DAKOTA PLUMBING PRODUCTS DSZ-1616 is a single-bowl undermount bar sink constructed from 16-gauge 304 stainless steel with an 18/10 chrome-nickel composition for corrosion resistance and long-term durability. Zero-radius corners deliver crisp 90-degree edges that maximize usable bowl space and support a clean, contemporary aesthetic. The center drain position is paired with a channeled bowl bottom that funnels water efficiently and reduces pooling. A thermal undercoating and oversized sound-dampening pads make up the Peacekeeper sound absorption system, cutting operational noise and limiting condensation beneath the cabinetry. Licensed plumbers and kitchen installers handle this type of fixture in both residential and light commercial applications.
The DSZ-1616 is sized for bar, prep, and compact kitchen installations. At 16 inches by 16 inches with a 10-inch bowl depth, it fits into base cabinets under 33 inches wide. The satin brushed nickel finish suits contemporary and transitional design schemes. The sink ships with a bottom grid (DSM-BG1616) and a basket strainer (DS-PBSSS). An optional three-piece bar kit is available separately for added utility at bar and prep stations. The Zoria collection is also offered in silver, gold, copper, and gunmetal black finishes for projects requiring a specific color match.
Designed as an undermount replacement or new-installation bar sink for base cabinets under 33 inches wide. Compatible bottom grid model DSM-BG1616 and basket strainer DS-PBSSS are included. An optional three-piece bar kit is available as a separate accessory within the Zoria collection.
Undermount sink installation requires securing the sink to the underside of a solid countertop substrate using manufacturer-approved clips and silicone adhesive sealant; a licensed plumber or qualified installer should perform this work. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain connections before beginning any sink replacement. Follow local plumbing code requirements, including IPC guidelines, for drain sizing, trap installation, and venting. Do not overtighten mounting hardware against the countertop surface, as this can crack stone or solid-surface materials.
