The DAKOTA PLUMBING PRODUCTS DSM-4060 is a 16-gauge 304 stainless steel undermount kitchen sink in a 40/60 double-bowl configuration with a satin brushed nickel finish. Constructed from 18/10 chrome/nickel stainless steel, it delivers corrosion resistance and long-term durability in demanding kitchen environments. The micro-radius corners measure 15 mm and support both modern aesthetics and straightforward cleaning. A rear-positioned 3.5-inch center drain on each bowl works with a channeled, grooved basin floor to direct water away and reduce pooling. A thermal undercoating and sound-dampening pads form the Peacekeeper Sound Absorption System, cutting operational noise and limiting under-cabinet condensation. Licensed plumbers and experienced installers handle undermount sink replacement and new construction installs alike.
The DSM-4060 is designed for undermount installation in residential kitchens and bar areas served by a base cabinet of 36 inches or greater. The 40/60 split positions the larger bowl on the right for heavy-duty washing tasks while the smaller left bowl handles prep, rinsing, or secondary tasks simultaneously. Overall dimensions are 32 inches in length, 18 inches in width, and 10 inches in depth, making it a practical fit for standard 36-inch base cabinet cutouts. The satin brushed nickel finish is one option in the Shades of Steel collection, which also includes Silver, Copper, Gold, and Gunmetal Black. The sink ships with DSM-BG4060 bottom grid and DSA-PBSSS basket strainer included.
Designed for undermount installation in residential kitchens with a base cabinet size greater than 33 inches. Overall sink dimensions of 32 inches by 18 inches by 10 inches are suited to standard 36-inch base cabinet cutouts.
Undermount sink installation requires shutting off the water supply and draining existing supply lines before removing any existing sink or cutting a countertop. A licensed plumber should perform rough-in, drain connection, and supply line hookup in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Countertop cutout dimensions must be verified against the sink rim and mounting clip requirements before installation. Silicone sealant rated for kitchen environments is typically required to create a watertight undermount seal between the sink rim and the underside of the countertop.
