The DAKOTA PLUMBING PRODUCTS DSZ-6040LDSV is a zero-radius undermount kitchen sink in the Zoria 6040LD collection, finished in Silver. Fabricated from 16-gauge 304 stainless steel with an 18/10 chrome-nickel alloy composition, it delivers long-term corrosion resistance and structural rigidity in high-use kitchen environments. The 60/40 double-bowl configuration places the larger bowl on the left and the smaller bowl on the right, separated by a low divide that accommodates large pans and multitasking workflows. A channeled base directs water toward a rear-positioned 3.5-inch center drain. This sink is installed by licensed plumbers and finish carpenters in residential and light-commercial kitchen projects.
The DSZ-6040LDSV fits 36-inch base cabinets with an overall footprint of 32 inches long by 18 inches wide by 10 inches deep. The zero-radius corner geometry maximizes usable bowl volume and suits contemporary kitchen designs. The Silver finish coordinates with brushed and polished fixture finishes. All accessories are included: DSMZ-BG6040LD bottom grids and DSA-PBSSS basket strainer are packaged with the sink. The Peacekeeper sound absorption system — a thermal undercoating combined with oversized dampening pads — reduces operational noise and minimizes cabinet condensation. This sink is covered by the Dakota Lifetime Limited Warranty.
Designed for undermount installation in 36-inch base cabinets. Part of the Zoria collection by Dakota Plumbing Products, also available in Satin Brushed Nickel, Gold, Copper, and Gunmetal Black finishes.
Undermount kitchen sinks are installed by licensed plumbers, typically in coordination with countertop fabricators who must template and cut the deck opening to fit the sink rim. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain lines before removal of any existing sink. Silicone sealant and mounting hardware appropriate for the countertop substrate are required; consult the manufacturer installation guide for clip spacing and adhesive type. All drain connections must comply with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC standards.
