The CUSTOM BLDG PRODUCTS STTSW1-2 is a pre-mixed, no-mix thin set mortar formulated for interior ceramic, porcelain, stone, marble, and granite tile installations. It spreads directly from the container with no water or mixing required, making it a practical choice for wall and floor work where job-site prep time matters. The mortar exceeds ANSI A136.1 Type I performance standards and supports tiles up to 8 inches x 8 inches, or tiles with one side up to 15 inches when extended dry time is used. Licensed tile installers and flooring contractors are the primary users of this product on residential interior projects.

This mortar is suited for interior wall and floor applications where a ready-to-use adhesive mortar eliminates on-site mixing. It performs across a range of tile types including ceramic, porcelain, stone, marble, and granite. Coverage varies by trowel size: a V-Notch trowel at 3/16 inches x 5/32 inches yields 40 to 44 square feet per gallon; a Square-Notch trowel at 1/4 inches x 1/4 inches x 1/4 inches yields 20 to 25 square feet; and a Square-Notch trowel at 1/4 inches x 3/4 inches x 1/4 inches yields 14 to 17 square feet. Coverage figures do not include backbuttering.
