The CUSTOM BLDG PRODUCTS CP1 is a latex primer formulated to prepare surfaces for self-leveling underlayment applications. It improves adhesion and seals porous substrates before the underlayment is poured, helping to prevent bubbling, delamination, and absorption issues that can compromise the finished floor system. Sold in a 1-gallon unit, it is packaged 4 units per box. Flooring installers and tile contractors typically apply this primer as the first step in a self-leveling workflow on concrete, wood subfloors, and similar porous surfaces.

This primer is intended for use ahead of self-leveling underlayment products, including True Value 290-905 Floor Underlayment.
