The CRESCENT pb24 is a 24-inch steel wrecking bar built for demolition, framing teardown, and material separation work on the job site. The chisel end drives between surfaces to split and pry apart wood, subflooring, roofing material, and framing members. The gooseneck end delivers high leverage in corners and confined spaces where flat bars cannot operate. With a 1-inch bar width and 2-inch end width, this bar provides a solid bearing surface for heavy prying. It meets ANSI standards and is a standard tool for carpenters, demo crews, and general contractors handling structural teardown.
This wrecking bar is suited for residential and light commercial demolition applications. Typical uses include prying up hardwood and engineered flooring, removing wall sheathing, pulling apart framing, and separating roofing layers. The gooseneck profile allows the bar to be repositioned into tight corners and along wall plates where a straight pry bar cannot fit. Three nail slots along the bar handle nail pulling during teardown tasks without requiring a separate tool.
Designed as a general-purpose wrecking bar for carpentry, demolition, and renovation work requiring a 24-inch chisel-end pry bar.
This bar is intended for use by carpenters, demolition crews, and general contractors. When prying near live utilities, confirm power, gas, and water services are shut off before beginning demolition. Position the chisel end fully into the work surface before applying lever force to reduce the risk of slipping. Inspect the bar for cracks or deformation before each use and remove from service if damage is found.
