The CRC 1003305 is a high-temperature chain and cable lubricant formulated with a molybdenum disulfide base, delivered in a 16 oz aerosol can with a 10 oz net fill. It is engineered to protect metal-to-metal contact surfaces in demanding mechanical systems operating in environments from 25 degrees F up to 350 degrees F. The light amber formula clings to chains, cables, and moving components, reducing friction and wear under load. It is applied by maintenance technicians and industrial service professionals working on conveyor systems, hoists, garage doors, and related equipment. The aerosol format allows precise, low-mess application in tight spaces.
This lubricant is suited for both light-duty and moderate industrial applications where conventional oils may migrate or burn off. It performs well in environments with elevated ambient temperatures or cyclical heat exposure. Typical install scenarios include preventive maintenance on drive chains, pulleys, rollers, winches, and come-alongs in commercial or light industrial settings. It is also appropriate for garage door hardware, cushion pins, bushings, o-rings, and seals. The formula is safe for use on most plastics, broadening its utility across mixed-material assemblies.
Designed for use on bushings, cushion pins, drive chains, garage doors, hoists, low-speed conveyors, o-rings, come-alongs, pulleys, rollers, seals, and winches across commercial and light industrial applications.
Applied by maintenance technicians and mechanical service professionals as part of scheduled lubrication programs. Before application, relieve tension on cables or chains where possible and wipe away excess grease, dirt, or old lubricant to ensure proper adhesion. Shake the aerosol can thoroughly before use and apply in a well-ventilated area, as the product is flammable and has a detectable odor. Allow the lubricant to penetrate and dry slightly before returning equipment to service.
