The CRATEX 4707 XF is an unmounted rubberized abrasive cone point designed for precision deburring, blending, and surface finishing on metal and other hard materials. Built around a silicon carbide abrasive matrix bonded in a flexible rubber medium, it delivers a very fine (60-grit) cutting action that removes tool marks and light burrs without aggressive stock removal. The cone profile reaches into recesses, chamfers, and contoured surfaces that flat wheels cannot access. It accepts a 1/4-inch arbor and mounts to a standard mandrel for use in a die grinder, rotary tool, or drill press.

This abrasive point is suited for bench and shop applications where a controlled, fine surface finish is required. Typical use cases include cleaning up weld areas, blending machined bores, and finishing interior radii on steel, stainless, aluminum, and cast iron workpieces. Installation Notes
