The CRATEX 4 C is an unmounted rubberized abrasive point in a cylinder shape, designed for precision deburring, blending, and surface finishing on metal, ceramic, and composite materials. It uses silicon carbide abrasive bonded in a rubberized matrix, which provides a controlled cut and a smooth surface finish compared to conventional vitrified points. With a coarse grade (46 grit) and a maximum operating speed of 25000 RPM, this point is built for aggressive material removal in tight areas that larger tooling cannot reach. The 1/16 inch arbor hole fits standard mandrels used in die grinders and rotary tools.

This abrasive point is suited for use in tool and die shops, precision machining operations, and maintenance applications where fine deburring or surface conditioning is required in confined spaces. Common applications include cleaning up weld zones, smoothing burrs on drilled or machined bores, and preparing surfaces for inspection or assembly.
