The CPSPRODUCTSCPSMT69 CPS-MT69 is a molecular transformer sub-cooler designed to maintain recovery speed during high-ambient and high-pressure conditions. During refrigerant recovery, rising cylinder temperature and pressure progressively slow the process and can trigger a high-pressure shutdown. The CPS-MT69 addresses this by subcooling the discharge line, keeping tank pressure in check so the recovery machine continues to run at full capacity. It is rated for a maximum operating pressure of 500 PSIG and includes an integrated discharge pressure gauge reading 0 to 600 PSIG. The unit measures 4 inches in diameter by 9.275 inches tall and weighs 5 pounds. HVAC/R technicians performing system evacuation and refrigerant recovery work will find this tool directly applicable to field recovery operations.
The CPS-MT69 is used in refrigerant recovery applications where elevated ambient temperatures cause recovery cylinder pressure to rise and slow or halt the recovery process. It installs inline between the recovery machine and the recovery cylinder. The heat sink is rated to 100 degrees F, making it suitable for hot-weather field work where ambient conditions most severely impact recovery efficiency. Connections are 1/4 inch SAE male inlet and outlet, compatible with standard recovery hose fittings used in commercial and residential HVAC/R service work.
Designed for use with standard refrigerant recovery machines and recovery cylinders in residential and commercial HVAC/R service applications. Connects via 1/4 inch SAE male fittings compatible with common recovery hose sets.
Installation is performed by licensed HVAC/R technicians following applicable EPA Section 608 recovery requirements. The unit installs inline on the discharge side between the recovery machine outlet and the recovery cylinder inlet. Verify all hose connections are properly torqued and leak-free before initiating recovery. Do not exceed the 500 PSIG maximum operating pressure rating during use.
