The CPS PRODUCTS emos2 is a replacement E-MOS technology sensor designed to extend the service life of the LS1 and LS2 Leak Seeker electronic leak detector units. The sensor restores full detection capability to these instruments when the original sensor degrades over time. E-MOS technology delivers higher sensitivity, stability, and accuracy compared to conventional detection methods, making it a reliable choice for refrigerant leak detection in HVAC and refrigeration service work. Licensed HVAC technicians performing system diagnostics and leak checks typically handle this sensor replacement as part of routine instrument maintenance.
The emos2 sensor is intended for use with CPS Products Leak Seeker electronic leak detectors, specifically the LS1 and LS2 models. These detectors are commonly used in residential and light commercial HVAC and refrigeration applications where accurate refrigerant leak location is required. The sensor is sold as a replacement component only and requires a compatible LS1 or LS2 detector unit, which is sold separately.
Compatible with CPS Products LS1 and LS2 Leak Seeker electronic leak detectors. The detector unit is sold separately and is required for operation.
Sensor replacement should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician familiar with the LS1 or LS2 detector. Power down and de-energize the leak detector before removing or installing the sensor. Follow the detector manufacturer's instructions for sensor removal and installation to avoid damaging the instrument. Handle the sensor carefully to avoid contamination of the sensing element, which can affect accuracy.
