The CPC COLDER PRODUCTS NS6D42006 is a male, nonspill quick disconnect coupling rated for fluid and gas transfer in industrial, HVAC, and process cooling applications. The nonspill design minimizes fluid loss during connect and disconnect cycles, making it suited for systems where spillage causes contamination or downtime. Built from polypropylene, it handles a working pressure up to 120 psi and operates across a temperature range of 32 to 160 degrees F. With a 3/8 inch nominal flow size and a non-threaded connection style, it installs without threading tools and seats with a push-to-connect or body-specific mating half.
This coupling is used in residential and light commercial fluid-handling systems including process chillers, cooling loops, medical equipment, laboratory fluid circuits, and HVAC hydronic systems. It is a male half that mates with a compatible female nonspill body of the same series. The non-threaded, push-style interface suits panel-mount or inline installations where repeated connect and disconnect cycles are part of routine service or equipment changeovers. Installers working in process cooling or chiller circuits will find the nonspill feature valuable when servicing live or pressurized legs.
Designed as an OEM-style male half for nonspill quick disconnect coupling systems with a 3/8 inch nominal flow size. Requires a compatible female nonspill coupling body of matching series and flow size for proper mating and sealing.
Installation is performed by plumbing or process piping technicians familiar with fluid coupling systems. Depressurize and drain the line before disconnecting or installing any coupling half. Verify the mating female body is from the same series and flow size to ensure a leak-free seal. Inspect the coupling face and internal valve for debris before connecting, and confirm full engagement before returning the system to operating pressure.
