The CPC COLDER PRODUCTS HFCD101235 is an inline threaded female socket coupling designed for fluid handling and quick-disconnect applications. Built from polysulfone with an EPDM O-ring seal, this fitting handles a maximum working pressure of 125 psi and operates across a wide temperature range of -40 to 280 degrees F. The integrated shutoff valve stops flow automatically when the coupling is disconnected, reducing fluid loss during maintenance. It connects via a 3/4 NPT female thread and is rated for a 3/8 inch nominal flow size. At 0.15 pounds, it is a lightweight, durable component suited for industrial, medical, chemical, and process fluid systems.
The HFCD101235 is used in applications where a reliable inline shutoff connection is required, including laboratory equipment, cooling systems, chemical processing lines, and industrial fluid circuits. The polysulfone body resists a broad range of chemicals and withstands elevated temperatures, making it appropriate for demanding environments. Installation is straightforward for plumbers and fluid systems technicians working with standard NPT-threaded pipe and tubing assemblies. The female socket accepts the corresponding male plug half to complete the quick-disconnect coupling assembly.
Designed as an OEM-style inline threaded female socket for quick-disconnect coupling systems using 3/4 NPT threaded connections with a 3/8 inch nominal flow rating.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber or fluid systems technician familiar with NPT threaded fittings. Depressurize and drain the system before removing or installing any coupling components. Apply thread sealant appropriate for the fluid being conveyed and tighten to hand-tight plus wrench turns per standard NPT assembly practice, without over-torquing the polysulfone body. Verify that the mating male plug is fully engaged and the shutoff valve is in the open position before returning the system to service.
