The COXREELS SL17WL-150 is a spring-driven, side-mount welding gas hose reel built for professional service environments. Part of the COXREELS S Series, this reel accepts 1/4-inch ID hose up to 50 feet and is constructed from steel with a CPC powder coat finish that resists chips and rust. It is designed for oxy-acetylene and T Grade welding gas applications and ships as a single unit ready for two-bolt mounting. A licensed technician or qualified service professional installs this reel on vertical flat surfaces, cabinets, enclosed compartments, tool benches, and service vehicles.
The SL17WL-150 fits a wide range of professional workstations and mobile service setups. Typical install locations include service units, tool boxes, vehicle lift systems, machine tools, and service vehicles. The 360-degree hose direction allows the reel to feed hose in any direction the job demands, making it practical for both stationary and multi-workstation applications. The external dual-ported brass swivel with Viton seals delivers full-flow performance and keeps both inlet and outlet connections on the same side of the reel, so the unit never needs to be removed from its mount for hose connections.
Designed for oxy-acetylene and T Grade welding gas hose service. Compatible with air, water, oil, and grease hose configurations available across the COXREELS S Series line. Suitable for any flat vertical surface, cabinet, or enclosed space mount using the standard two-bolt pattern.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with welding gas supply systems and applicable codes. Shut off all gas supply at the source and bleed residual pressure from the hose before mounting or servicing this reel. Use the two-bolt mounting pattern on a structurally sound vertical surface rated for the combined weight of the reel and loaded hose. Inspect all swivel fittings and hose connections for leaks with an approved leak-detection solution after installation and before returning the system to service.
