The COXREELS SH-N-550-DF-BBX is a heavy-duty single pedestal DEF Series hose reel engineered for safe and reliable Diesel Exhaust Fluid dispensing in both stationary and mobile service environments. Built around a stainless steel 90-degree full-flow NPT swivel with chemical-resistant Viton seals, this reel handles DEF without corrosion or seal degradation over time. The swivel is externally mounted for easy access during routine seal maintenance. CNC robotically spun and ribbed discs with rolled edges add structural strength while protecting the hose and the operator. A cartridge-style motor is fully enclosed and lubricated, and can be removed without disassembling the reel body. The unit weighs 76 pounds and is sold individually.
This reel is suited for fleet maintenance shops, truck stops, agricultural operations, and commercial service facilities that dispense DEF on a regular basis. The single pedestal SH Series configuration mounts to wall, floor, ceiling, or vehicle surfaces using the adjustable multi-position guide arm, making it adaptable to tight or unconventional install locations. The solid one-piece steel base and support post require no welding and are designed for maximum stability under vibration-intensive mobile use. The exclusive dual-axle Super Hub support system reduces vibration during reel operation, extending service life in demanding environments.
Designed for DEF dispensing applications in the COXREELS SH Series single pedestal reel platform. Includes a DEF dispensing hose and an adjustable solid rubber hose stop.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with fluid dispensing equipment and applicable local codes. Shut off all fluid supply lines before mounting or servicing the reel. Verify that mounting surfaces can support the reel weight of 76 pounds plus hose and fluid load before securing the base. When installing in mobile applications, confirm that all fasteners are torqued to the vehicle or equipment manufacturer specifications for the mounting surface material.
