The COXREELS SH-N-160 is a spring-driven hose reel from the SH Series Super Hub line, built for demanding service in industrial, mechanical, and fleet maintenance environments. The reel accepts 1/4 inch ID hose up to 60 feet in length and features a dual axle support system that reduces vibration and reinforces structural integrity during operation. The cartridge-style rewind motor is fully enclosed and lubricated for long service intervals. A machined solid brass 90-degree full-flow NPT swivel allows seal maintenance and hose installation without removing the reel from its mount. Licensed trades and service professionals use this reel for compressed air, fluid delivery, and similar applications where a reliable retractable hose station is required.
The SH-N-160 is suited for both fixed and mobile installations. The multi-position guide arm adjusts to wall, floor, ceiling, and vehicle mounting configurations, making it practical for shop bays, service trucks, and maintenance facilities. The solid one-piece steel base and support post use a no-weld single pedestal design for maximum stability. A CPC powder coat finish provides chip and rust resistance in environments with frequent contact and exposure to shop conditions. An adjustable solid rubber hose stop and permanently lubricated precision bearings are included as standard.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation spring-driven hose reel for use with 1/4 inch ID hose up to 60 feet in length in compressed air, fluid, and similar trade service applications.
Installation is typically performed by a qualified mechanical or facilities technician. Before mounting, verify that the support surface — wall, floor, ceiling, or vehicle body — is rated to carry the loaded weight of the reel and hose. Shut off and bleed the supply line completely before connecting or disconnecting the swivel fitting. Follow applicable OSHA and local safety codes for hose reel mounting in pressurized fluid or air service applications.
