The COXREELS SG17-L430 is a spring-driven, side-mount hose reel designed for air, water, oil, and grease service. It belongs to the SG Series, which extends the capability of standard side-mount spring-driven reels by adding a multi-position guide arm for improved hose control in tight or confined spaces. The reel features a machined solid brass 90-degree full-flow NPT swivel, a removable lubricated cartridge-style motor, and heavy-duty CNC robotically spun and ribbed discs with rolled edges. It is installed by licensed service technicians, fleet maintenance professionals, and industrial equipment operators in permanent or temporary service configurations.
The SG17-L430 is suited for service vehicles, tool benches, vertical walls, beams, vehicle lift systems, and machine tool stations. The two-bolt mounting pattern allows fast installation and detachment on any vertical flat surface, making it practical for both fixed shop installations and mobile service unit applications. The hose reel accommodates 1/2 inch inside diameter hose with a 3/4 inch outside diameter and a 30-foot hose length, covering the reach requirements of most single-bay or vehicle-mounted service setups.
The SG17-L430 is an SG Series reel rated for air, water, oil, and grease hose applications. It accepts 1/2 inch ID, 3/4 inch OD hose up to 30 feet in length. For oxy-acetylene or T Grade gas welding hose service, the separate SGW Series is required.
Installation is typically performed by qualified maintenance technicians or equipment mechanics. Before mounting or servicing this reel, relieve all hose pressure and isolate the fluid supply at the source valve. The two-bolt mounting pattern requires a flat vertical surface capable of supporting the loaded weight of the reel and hose. Use appropriate fasteners rated for the mounting surface material and consult applicable workplace safety and equipment installation codes before permanent installation.
