The COXREELS P-W-140 is a spring-driven welding hose reel designed to manage twin-line oxy-acetylene welding hose in demanding shop and field environments. Built on a compact steel chassis, it features a permanently lubricated cartridge-style motor and CNC robotically spun ribbed discs with rolled edges for hose protection and structural durability. The external 90-degree full-flow dual-ported brass swivel with Viton seals brings both hose connections to the same side of the reel, eliminating the need to dismount the unit during connection changes. Licensed welding professionals and industrial maintenance technicians are the primary installers.
The P-W-140 is suited for residential and commercial welding applications where a compact spring-retract reel is needed to keep twin-line welding hose organized and off the floor. The single-pedestal base with a solid one-piece steel support post and no-weld construction provides stable mounting. The multi-position guide arm adjusts for wall, floor, ceiling, and vehicle mounting configurations, making the reel adaptable to fixed shops, mobile service rigs, and overhead installations. The CPC powder coat finish resists chips and rust for extended service life in harsh environments.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct fitment reel for 1/4 inch ID twin-line oxy-acetylene welding hose up to 40 feet in length, consistent with the COXREELS P-W Series compact spring-driven reel platform.
Installation should be performed by a qualified welding professional or industrial maintenance technician familiar with compressed gas hose systems. Shut off all gas supply valves and relieve hose pressure before mounting or connecting the reel. Verify all swivel and hose connections are leak-free using an approved leak detection solution before resuming welding operations. Follow applicable OSHA and NFPA guidelines for welding gas storage, hose routing, and equipment mounting.
