Product Description

The COXREELS EZ-TSHL-450 is a spring-driven hose reel built for truck-mount and off-road applications where durability is non-negotiable. Part of the COXREELS T Series line, this reel features a 1/2 inch inner diameter inlet and accepts hose up to 50 feet in length. The extra-large chassis uses dual pedestal-style arms and COXREELS Super Hub triple axle support to reduce vibration and reinforce structural integrity. Licensed HVAC, plumbing, and industrial service technicians who run hose from service vehicles will find this reel engineered to hold up in high-cycle, high-abuse field conditions. The EZ-COIL spring motor retracts hose up to 80 percent slower than conventional reels, reducing snap-back hazards on the job site.

The EZ-TSHL-450 is designed for truck-mount and vehicle-based service applications across plumbing, industrial, and general fluid-transfer trades. The multi-position guide arm adjusts for wall, floor, ceiling, and vehicle mounting configurations, giving installers flexibility across different service truck layouts and shop setups. It is well-suited for off-road and field service environments that subject equipment to sustained vibration, impact, and weather exposure. The solid one-piece steel base with no-weld construction keeps the mounting footprint stable under load.

Key Features

  • EZ-COIL spring motor retracts hose up to 80 percent slower than conventional spring-driven reels, reducing snap-back risk
  • Machined solid brass 90-degree full-flow NPT swivel allows seal maintenance and hose installation without removing the reel from its mount
  • Lubricated, enclosed cartridge-style spring motor is removable for field maintenance without specialized tooling
  • Heavy-duty CNC robotically spun and ribbed discs with rolled edges for hose protection and operator safety
  • 1/4 inch solid one-piece steel base with dual pedestal design and no-weld construction for maximum stability
  • CPC powder coat finish is chip-resistant and rust-inhibiting; permanently lubricated precision bearings throughout

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style truck-mount replacement or new-install spring-driven hose reel for 1/2 inch ID hose lines up to 50 feet in service vehicle and stationary mounting applications.

Installation Notes

Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumbing, industrial, or mechanical service technician. Shut off and bleed all fluid pressure from the hose line before mounting or servicing the reel. Secure the steel base to a structurally rated mounting surface using fasteners appropriate for the vehicle or wall substrate. Verify that all NPT swivel connections are properly threaded and leak-tested before returning the system to service.
