The COXREELS EZ-TSH-450 is a spring-driven hose reel built for truck-mount and off-road service applications. Part of the COXREELS T Series EZ-T line, it features a 1/2 inch ID inlet and accommodates up to 50 feet of hose with a 3/4 inch OD. The reel is engineered around an extra-large dual pedestal chassis with the COXREELS Super Hub triple axle support system, which reduces vibration and reinforces structural integrity under continuous heavy use. At 63 pounds, it is a full-duty unit intended for licensed trades and fleet service operations that need a retractable reel capable of surviving repeated abuse in demanding field environments.
The EZ-TSH-450 is designed for truck-mounted service rigs and off-road vehicles where conventional spring-driven reels cannot hold up to vibration and rough terrain. It is equally suited to fixed installations on walls, floors, or ceilings thanks to its multi-position guide arm. Typical applications include mobile fluid transfer, lubrication service, and utility hose management in HVAC, plumbing, and general mechanical service fleets. The EZ-COIL spring system retracts the hose at up to 80 percent slower than standard reels, reducing snap-back hazards during retraction.
Designed as an OEM-style truck-mount and fixed-installation replacement or new-install spring-driven hose reel for 1/2 inch ID hose lines up to 50 feet in length.
Installation should be performed by a qualified mechanic or service technician familiar with hose reel mounting hardware and torque requirements for the specific vehicle or structure. Depressurize and bleed the supply line completely before connecting or disconnecting the swivel fitting. Secure the base to a surface rated for the reel weight and operating loads; consult the vehicle or structure load specifications before mounting. Verify that the guide arm position clears all moving parts and that the hose stop is adjusted to prevent overextension before returning the reel to service.
