The COXREELS EZ-SG17-L430 is a side-mount, spring-driven hose reel from the SG Series, designed for controlled hose retraction in demanding service environments. It accepts hose with a 1/2 inch ID and 3/4 inch OD and accommodates up to 30 feet of hose. The EZ-COIL retraction system uses an enclosed, lubricated cartridge-style motor that retracts hose at up to 80 percent slower than conventional reels, reducing snap-back hazards. CNC robotically spun and ribbed steel discs with rolled edges provide structural rigidity and protect hose from damage. Licensed HVAC techs, plumbers, fleet mechanics, and general service technicians install this unit in tool bays, service vehicles, and machine tool stations.
The EZ-SG17-L430 is suited for air, water, oil, and grease service lines. Its two-bolt side-mount pattern installs on any vertical flat surface, cabinet enclosure, or enclosed space — including service vehicle compartments, wall-mounted tool benches, vertical beams, and vehicle lift systems. The six-position adjustable guide arm and roller assembly allow the technician to route hose in the most practical direction for the work cell layout, making it especially useful in tight or confined installation areas.
The EZ-SG17-L430 is part of the COXREELS SG Series, designed for air, water, oil, and grease hose applications. It is compatible with 1/2 inch ID, 3/4 inch OD hose up to 30 feet in length. Refer to COXREELS SG Series documentation for full hose and fitting compatibility.
Installation is typically performed by a qualified service technician or mechanic using standard hand tools. Relieve all system pressure and depressurize the hose completely before mounting or servicing the reel. Secure the unit to a structurally adequate vertical flat surface using the two-bolt pattern, confirming the mounting surface can support the combined weight of the reel and filled hose. Position the guide arm before routing the hose to avoid kinking or binding during retraction.
