The COXREELS EZ-P-MPL-430 is a spring-driven hose reel built for demanding trade applications where reliability and compact installation space matter. Part of the COXREELS P Series, it features an EZ-Coil enclosed cartridge-style motor that retracts hose up to 80% slower than conventional reels, significantly reducing snap-back risk. The reel accepts hose with a 1/2 inch ID and 13/16 inch OD and handles a 30-foot hose length. CNC robotically spun and ribbed discs with rolled edges give the unit structural rigidity and protect both the hose and nearby personnel. A CPC powder coat finish resists chipping, corrosion, and rust for long service life in harsh shop or field environments. Licensed contractors, fleet mechanics, and service technicians are the primary installers.
The EZ-P-MPL-430 fits a wide range of trade service setups including mobile service vehicles, shop bays, maintenance facilities, and fixed service stations. The multi-position guide arm adjusts for wall, floor, ceiling, and vehicle mounting, making it adaptable to tight or unconventional installation layouts. The machined solid brass 90-degree full-flow NPT swivel allows hose installation and seal maintenance without removing the reel from its mount, minimizing downtime during service calls. This reel is well suited for compressed air, water, and similar fluid delivery applications where a durable, retractable hose management solution is required.
Designed as an OEM-style spring-driven hose reel replacement or new installation unit suitable for hose with 1/2 inch ID and 13/16 inch OD up to 30 feet in length.
Installation is typically performed by a qualified mechanic, fleet technician, or plumbing contractor familiar with hose reel mounting and fluid system connections. Power down or depressurize the connected fluid system completely before servicing the reel, swivel, or hose. Mounting hardware selection should be appropriate for the substrate — wall stud, ceiling joist, or vehicle frame — to support the rated load of the reel and hose assembly. Follow applicable OSHA and facility safety guidelines when installing reels in overhead or vehicle-mounted positions.
