The CORBIN RUSSWIN CLX3361-NZD-626-CT6D-LFIC is a Grade 1 office/entrance cylindrical lever lockset designed for commercial door hardware applications. It features a Newport lever style and is finished in 626 Satin Chrome (US26D). The lock ships with a Large Format Interchangeable Core (LFIC) 6-pin prep and includes a disposable plastic core, allowing the facility to install a permanent LFIC cylinder at final keying. Backset is 2-3/4 inches and the unit includes an ANSI Strike SA114. Licensed locksmiths, commercial door hardware installers, and facilities maintenance technicians are the typical installers for this type of hardware.
This cylindrical lever is suited for office and entrance function applications in commercial and institutional buildings. The office/entrance function means the push button on the inside rose locks the outside lever, requiring key access to unlock from outside. Turning the inside lever retracts the latch and simultaneously releases the locked outside lever. Closing the door does not release the push button, keeping the outside lever locked until key or inside lever operation occurs. The inside lever remains free at all times, providing required egress.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation cylindrical lever for commercial doors prepared for Grade 1 cylindrical locksets with a Large Format Interchangeable Core prep and a 2-3/4 inch backset.
Installation should be performed by a licensed locksmith or qualified commercial door hardware technician familiar with ANSI cylindrical lock prep standards. Verify the door preparation matches the required bore diameter and backset before mounting. The disposable plastic core must be replaced with a permanent LFIC cylinder during final keying; do not operate the lock long-term with the plastic core installed. Confirm the door and frame are properly aligned and that the ANSI strike is correctly mortised before placing the hardware in service.
