The COOPER BUSSMANN MDL-7-R is a glass-body cartridge fuse rated at 7 amps with a time-delay characteristic. It measures 1.25 inches in overall length and 0.25 inches in diameter, conforming to the standard 1/4 x 1-1/4 inch mini cartridge form factor. The time-delay design allows temporary inrush currents to pass without nuisance opening, making it well suited for motors, transformers, and other loads that draw surge current on startup. Licensed electricians and HVAC technicians specify this fuse where UL 248-14 and CE compliance are required.
