The COOPER BUSSMANN LP-CC-4 is a Class CC time delay cartridge fuse rated at 4 amps, designed for general-purpose overcurrent protection in industrial and commercial control circuits. With a dual-element construction, this fuse tolerates temporary inrush currents while still providing reliable protection against sustained overloads and short circuits. It carries an AC interrupting rating of 200 kA RMS and a DC interrupting rating of 20 kA, making it suitable for high-fault-current environments. The compact cartridge body measures 1.5 inches in length and 10.3 mm in diameter, fitting standard Class CC fuse holders. Licensed electricians and industrial maintenance technicians install this fuse as part of motor control, HVAC, and low-voltage control panel applications.
The LP-CC-4 is used in residential, commercial, and light industrial settings where Class CC fusing is specified. Common applications include motor starters, control transformers, HVAC control circuits, and programmable logic controller (PLC) power supplies. The time delay characteristic makes it well suited for circuits with inductive loads that draw higher current on startup. The fuse mounts in a standard Class CC fuse holder and is sold individually, with a minimum order quantity of 10 units per order.
Designed for use in standard Class CC fuse holders. Consult fuse holder documentation and panel specifications to confirm fitment before installation.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. Always de-energize and lock out the circuit before replacing fuses. Verify that the replacement fuse amperage, class, and interrupting rating meet or exceed the requirements specified in the equipment documentation. Do not substitute a fuse of a different class or higher amperage rating as a workaround for repeated fuse failures.
