The COOPER BUSSMANN GMA-63-R is a glass cartridge fast-acting fuse rated at 0.06 amps. It is a mini-body fuse measuring 20 mm (approximately 0.787 inches) in overall length and 5 mm (approximately 0.197 inches) in diameter. Fast-acting fuses respond immediately to overcurrent events without intentional delay, making this part appropriate for protecting sensitive electronics, instrumentation circuits, and low-current control wiring. The GMA-63-R carries an interrupting rating of 10,000 amps at 125 volts and 35 amps at 250 volts. Licensed electricians, electronics technicians, and HVAC controls specialists typically install this type of fuse in low-current branch circuits and control boards.
This fuse is suited for residential and light commercial applications where a mini cartridge form factor is required. It fits standard 5 mm x 20 mm fuse holders and fuseholders found in control panels, test equipment, power supplies, and low-voltage circuit boards. The glass body allows visual inspection of the fuse element without removal, simplifying troubleshooting during service calls. It complies with UL, CSA, and RoHS standards, making it acceptable for use in both domestic and export equipment assemblies.
Designed for use in standard 5 mm x 20 mm cartridge fuse holders found in control boards, instrumentation, and low-current electronic equipment requiring a fast-acting mini fuse.
Always de-energize and lock out the circuit before replacing a fuse. Verify that the replacement fuse matches the amperage rating and interrupting capacity required by the equipment manufacturer — substituting a higher-rated fuse can damage downstream components or create a fire hazard. Use a proper fuse puller or insulated tool when removing the fuse from a live-panel fuse block. Follow applicable NEC requirements for overcurrent protection of the circuit being serviced.
