The COOPER BUSSMANN 993W is a 4-inch Coilex baffle trim designed for 120-volt line-voltage recessed lighting housings in the H99 family. The Coilex construction uses a screw-type thread molded directly into the baffle, which reduces stray light more effectively than a standard step-type thread. The die-cast trim ring provides a finished look while three cat's-paw springs lock the trim securely into the housing without additional fasteners. This trim is installed by licensed electricians and qualified lighting contractors in residential recessed lighting applications.

The 993W fits 4-inch H99 family recessed housings, including the H99T, H99RT, and H99ICT fixtures, making it a practical replacement or upgrade trim for existing installations. It is suited for residential ceilings where glare reduction and a clean white finish are required. The friction-based spring retention system keeps the trim seated flush without tools during final positioning. An optional socket extender, part number H1999, is available separately if a 50-watt PAR20 lamp is used with this trim.
