The CONTINENTAL CONTITECH GOR03850-50-11 is an oil-resistant air hose designed for demanding compressed-air applications in industrial and trade environments. Constructed from nitrile rubber, it resists oil contamination that would degrade standard air hoses over time. The hose measures 3/8 inch inside diameter and 50 feet in length, with a working pressure rating of 500 psi. It handles a temperature range of -20 degrees F to 190 degrees F, making it suitable for use in cold-weather outdoor settings as well as warm shop environments. MNPT x MNPT end connections on both ends allow direct threading to standard fittings. Licensed HVAC techs, mechanics, and general tradespeople install this hose where air tools or pneumatic equipment require a durable, oil-tolerant supply line.
This hose is suited for general-purpose compressed-air service in automotive shops, HVAC service vehicles, manufacturing floors, and construction sites. The yellow outer jacket provides high visibility in busy work areas. The nitrile rubber construction holds up to repeated contact with compressor oils and lubricants that are common in shop and field service environments. The 50-foot length gives technicians sufficient reach for most stationary compressor setups without requiring an extension.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service hose for compressed-air systems requiring a 3/8 inch ID, oil-resistant air hose with MNPT x MNPT end connections and a 500 psi working pressure rating.
Installation is typically performed by mechanics, HVAC technicians, or general tradespeople familiar with compressed-air systems. Before connecting or disconnecting the hose, depressurize the air line completely and verify the compressor is powered off. Use appropriate thread sealant on MNPT connections and do not overtighten fittings, as this can damage the threaded ends. Inspect the hose for cuts, abrasions, or kinking before putting it into service.
