The CONTINENTAL CONTITECH 20070146 is a fractional horsepower cogged V-belt designed for light-duty power transmission applications across HVAC, refrigeration, and general mechanical equipment. Designated belt number 3L410, this belt features a 3L section profile with a 41.0 inch outside length and a 40.30 inch internal length. Constructed from high traction rubber, it resists abrasion and ozone degradation, making it well suited for both indoor mechanical rooms and exposed outdoor equipment. Rated for a maximum working temperature of 140 degrees C and a minimum working temperature of -40 degrees C, it handles wide thermal swings without hardening or cracking. HVAC technicians and mechanical service professionals are the primary installers.
This belt is commonly used in residential and light commercial HVAC systems, evaporative coolers, fan assemblies, blower drives, and small motor-driven equipment that use fractional horsepower V-belt drives. The 3L section, also known as the fractional horsepower (FHP) profile, fits standard FHP sheaves and pulleys. The cogged design reduces bending resistance, which improves efficiency and extends belt life on small-diameter pulleys typical in residential air handling and refrigeration applications.

Installation is typically performed by HVAC technicians or mechanical service professionals. Never use tools to force the belt over sheave flanges, as this can damage the belt cords.
