The CONTINENTAL CONTITECH 20042026 is a Section A classical V-belt designed for general power transmission in industrial and commercial drive applications. Constructed from Wingprene rubber-impregnated fabric, this belt delivers reliable performance across a wide temperature range, from -40 degrees C to 140 degrees C, making it suitable for demanding environments where heat and oil exposure are common. The belt carries an outside length of 105.2 inches and an internal length of 104.30 inches, conforming to belt number A103. Installation is handled by millwrights, HVAC mechanics, and industrial maintenance technicians working on belt-driven equipment.
This V-belt is suited for use in HVAC fan drives, compressor drives, pump drives, and other belt-driven machinery where a Section A classical profile is specified. The HY-T Matchmaker style designation allows this belt to be matched in multi-belt drive configurations, maintaining consistent load sharing across all strands. It meets DIN 2215 and DIN 7753 standards, making it appropriate for both domestic and internationally spec'd equipment. Its oil-resistant and heat-resistant compound is particularly valuable in mechanical rooms, rooftop units, and light industrial settings where fluid contamination or elevated ambient temperatures are a concern.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement for any Section A classical V-belt drive requiring an A103 belt with 105.2 inches outside length and 104.30 inches internal length. Suitable for use on standard A-section sheaves and pulleys per DIN 2215 and DIN 7753 specifications.
V-belt installation should be performed by a qualified millwright or mechanical technician. Always de-energize and lock out the drive motor before removing guards or handling belts. Do not force the belt over sheave flanges with pry bars — loosen the drive to allow slack installation, then re-tension per the equipment manufacturer's specifications. Inspect sheave grooves for wear, misalignment, or contamination before installing a replacement belt.
