The AALBERTS INTEGRATED PIPING SYSTEMS (CONBRACO) 77-109-01 is a 2-piece, full-port, in-line bronze ball valve rated for 600 PSI cold working pressure (CWP) and 150 PSI steam working pressure (SWP). It features a 2-1/2 inch FNPT connection on both ends and a reinforced PTFE (RPTFE) seat and stem packing that allows operation up to 500 degrees F. The chrome-plated brass ball and lever handle with steel-and-vinyl grip make this valve well-suited for demanding fluid control applications. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the primary installers of this valve in commercial and industrial piping systems.
The 77-109-01 is part of the Series 77-100 line and is designed for full-bore, in-line service in water, oil, gas, and steam distribution systems. Its 2-1/2 inch full-port opening delivers a flow coefficient (Cv) of 503, minimizing pressure drop across the valve. The zinc-plated steel lever handle with vinyl grip allows manual quarter-turn operation. The mounting pad on the body supports actuator retrofitting if automated control is needed in the future.
Designed as an OEM-style in-line ball valve for 2-1/2 inch FNPT piping systems in commercial plumbing, hydronic heating, steam distribution, and industrial fluid handling where bronze body construction and high-pressure ratings are required.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable IPC and IFGC code requirements. Depressurize and drain the line completely before removing any existing valve or making new connections. Verify that upstream and downstream piping material is compatible with bronze and that thread sealant is rated for the working temperature and medium. Do not use the lever handle as a mechanical stop or apply excessive torque to the handle during operation.
