The Comprehensive Connectivity Co. USB3-AB-10SP is a USB 3.0 (USB 3.2 Gen 1) Type-A to Type-B cable rated for data transfer speeds up to 5 Gbps. At 10 feet in length, it bridges host devices such as computers and hubs to peripheral equipment including printers, scanners, and external storage drives. The cable conforms to the USB 3.0 specification and is suited for installations where a longer run is needed between a workstation and a connected peripheral. IT professionals, AV integrators, and trade technicians commonly deploy this cable in both commercial and light industrial environments.
This cable is appropriate for use in office, data center, and light commercial environments where USB 3.0 connectivity is required between a Type-A host port and a Type-B device port. Typical applications include connecting printers, external hard drives, DAQ devices, and test equipment to a host computer or powered hub. The 10-foot length accommodates installations where the host and peripheral are separated by a workbench, rack, or equipment cabinet.
Designed as a standard USB 3.0 Type-A to Type-B replacement or new-installation cable compatible with any host device featuring a USB 3.0 Type-A port and any peripheral device with a USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 Type-B receptacle.
No special tools are required for installation. Ensure both the host and peripheral devices are powered down or the USB port is inactive before connecting or disconnecting the cable in sensitive data environments. Route the cable away from high-voltage conductors and sharp edges to protect the jacket. Do not exceed the minimum bend radius to avoid signal degradation.
