The COLLIS TOOL 75100 is an MT5 taper shank split sleeve tapping driver designed for precision tapping operations in machine shop and industrial environments. It accepts a 1-1/8 inch tap and provides a tap entry depth of 2-9/64 inches, making it suitable for through-hole and deep-thread tapping applications. The split sleeve design allows the driver to release torque and protect the tap from breakage during reversing cycles. A 7/16 inch projection and a tap shank diameter of 0.896 inches ensure secure tap retention and accurate axial alignment. Licensed machinists and toolroom technicians are the primary installers of this tooling.
