The COILHOSE PNEUMATICS PT0408-1000B is a flexible blue polyurethane pneumatic tubing sold in a 1,000-foot coil and priced in 1-foot increments with a 25-foot minimum cut length. It carries a 4 mm outside diameter, a 2.4 mm inside diameter, and a 0.80 mm wall thickness. Rated to 120 psi maximum working pressure and rated for temperatures from -40 degrees F to 165 degrees F, this tubing is built for continuous-duty compressed air distribution and general pneumatic control lines. Shore 95A hardness gives it good kink resistance while retaining the flexibility needed for routing in tight enclosures or machine frames.
This tubing is suited for light industrial, automation, and production-floor pneumatic systems where a compact-diameter line is needed between a manifold, regulator, or valve and an actuator or tool. The 4 mm OD size fits directly into Coilhose Coilock push-to-connect fittings and compatible Poly-Tube fittings, making it a natural choice for shops already running those fitting families. The 1,000-foot coil format supports both bulk installation runs and cutting individual drops to length at the point of use. UL94HB flame-spread compliance makes it acceptable in many machine-guarding and enclosed-panel applications.
Designed for use with Coilhose Coilock push-to-connect fittings and Poly-Tube fittings. Verify fitting bore and collet size match 4 mm OD tubing before ordering.
Pneumatic tubing installation is typically performed by industrial maintenance technicians or pipefitters working under applicable compressed air system codes. Depressurize and bleed down the pneumatic circuit fully before cutting into any existing line or removing fittings. Use a clean, square tube cut — a dedicated tubing cutter produces the cleanest end and ensures full seating depth in push-to-connect fittings. Avoid routing the tubing in contact with sharp edges, high-heat surfaces above the rated temperature, or incompatible solvents and oils that may degrade polyurethane.
