The COILHOSE PNEUMATICS CL680604 is a push-to-connect tube fitting connector designed for use in compressed air and pneumatic fluid systems. It accepts 3/8-inch OD tubing and threads into a 1/4-inch NPT port, creating a secure, tool-free tube connection. The body combines glass-reinforced nylon with nickel-plated brass internal components, giving the fitting the structural strength and corrosion resistance required for industrial and shop pneumatic lines. Rated to 225 psi maximum working pressure, it handles the demands of typical compressed air service without modification. HVAC techs, plumbers, and industrial maintenance technicians use fittings like this to route pneumatic control tubing in both new installations and retrofit work.
This connector is suited for pneumatic control and fluid transfer lines in commercial and light industrial environments. It is appropriate for applications where quick tube insertion and positive retention are needed without the use of ferrules or compression sleeves. The -40 degrees F minimum working temperature and 170 degrees F maximum working temperature rating make it compatible with most indoor compressed air and pneumatic control circuits found in HVAC, manufacturing, and facility maintenance settings.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect replacement connector for pneumatic tubing systems using 3/8-inch OD tubing and 1/4-inch NPT ported components.
Depressurize and lock out the compressed air supply before removing or installing pneumatic fittings. Verify the receiving port thread type is NPT before installation, as BSPT threads require a different fitting. Insert tubing fully until it seats against the internal stop before pressurizing the line. Inspect the tubing end for squareness and burrs prior to insertion to ensure a leak-free seal.
