The COILHOSE PNEUMATICS 771-S is a standard safety air blow gun designed for controlled compressed-air blowoff tasks in shop, industrial, and trade environments. Built with a lightweight polymer body and a pistol grip, it accepts a 1/4 NPT female inlet and delivers up to 10 standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM) through a 0.130-inch outlet. The variable-flow trigger gives technicians precise control over airflow without fully committing to full pressure on every pull. At 0.27 pounds, it adds minimal fatigue during extended use. Licensed HVAC techs, mechanics, plumbers, and general shop personnel commonly keep this type of blow gun on the bench or cart for clearing debris, drying fittings, and cleaning work surfaces.
The 771-S suits general pneumatic cleanup applications in residential and commercial service environments. Its 3/4-inch tube length keeps the profile compact for close-quarters use. The standard safety tip design complies with OSHA 1910.242(b) dead-end pressure requirements and the noise output is rated at 84 to 87 decibels, keeping it within OSHA 1910.95 hearing-conservation thresholds at typical working distances. It connects directly to standard 1/4 NPT air lines and quick-disconnect fittings common in most shop setups.
Designed for use with standard 1/4 NPT compressed-air supply lines and pneumatic quick-disconnect systems common in trade and shop environments.
Installation is performed by any trade professional or technician working with compressed-air systems. Depressurize the air line fully before attaching or removing the blow gun. Apply thread sealant appropriate for pneumatic fittings to the 1/4 NPT inlet threads and tighten hand-tight plus a quarter turn — do not overtighten polymer-bodied fittings. Always point the outlet away from personnel before opening airflow, and verify that downstream pressure does not exceed the rated maximum for the tool.
