The COILHOSE PNEUMATICS 141 is a brass pneumatic coupler designed for use in compressed-air tool and hose assemblies. This coupler features a 3/8-inch female NPT (FNPT) threaded connection and a 1/4-inch body diameter, making it a compact, reliable fitting for connecting air hoses to tools, regulators, or manifolds. Built from brass, it handles a maximum working pressure of 300 psi and an operating temperature range of -40 to 250 degrees F. It follows the ARO interchange standard, ensuring broad compatibility with ARO-style quick-disconnect systems. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC-R technicians regularly use this type of coupler in shop, field, and mechanical-room compressed-air applications.
The 141 coupler is suited for residential and light commercial compressed-air systems where ARO-standard fittings are specified. Typical installations include pneumatic tool connections, air compressor outlet lines, and shop-air distribution drops. The FNPT thread allows direct connection to standard pipe-threaded ports on regulators, manifolds, and hose assemblies. Its brass construction resists corrosion in typical shop-air environments. Designed as an ARO interchange replacement coupler compatible with ARO-style quick-disconnect pneumatic systems using a 3/8-inch FNPT threaded inlet and a 1/4-inch body diameter.
Installation is performed by a qualified technician or pipefitter following applicable compressed-air safety practices. Depressurize and lock out the air supply before removing or installing any pneumatic fitting. Apply appropriate thread sealant to the FNPT threads per shop practice, and verify the connection is fully seated and leak-free before returning the system to service. Do not exceed the rated 300 psi working pressure.
