The CLIMAX METAL PRODUCTS ISCC-137-137-S is a one-piece split clamping collar designed to secure shafts, rods, and cylindrical components in place within mechanical assemblies. Machined from stainless steel, this collar offers corrosion resistance suitable for demanding environments including wet, washdown, and outdoor applications. The split design allows the collar to be installed and removed without disassembling the shaft or adjacent components, reducing service time. With a 1.375-inch bore and a 2.25-inch outside diameter, it provides a firm, concentric grip when the clamp is tightened. Licensed millwrights, maintenance technicians, and mechanical contractors typically install this type of hardware.
This split clamping collar is suited for use in industrial machinery, conveyor systems, pumping equipment, and general power-transmission assemblies where shaft retention or axial positioning is required. The stainless steel construction makes it appropriate for food-processing, marine, chemical-handling, and HVAC mechanical applications where carbon steel would corrode. At 3.5 inches in length, it provides extended contact along the shaft for improved load distribution compared to standard-width collars. It is sold individually and is a direct-fit mechanical hardware component for trade and industrial maintenance use.
Designed as an OEM-style mechanical replacement or maintenance collar for 1-3/8-inch diameter shafts in industrial, commercial, and trade-service power-transmission assemblies.
Installation should be performed by a qualified millwright or mechanical technician following applicable machinery safety lockout/tagout procedures before shaft work begins. Ensure the shaft surface is clean and free of burrs before seating the collar. Do not overtighten the clamp fasteners beyond the hardware manufacturer torque guidelines supplied with the collar. Inspect shaft concentricity and collar seating after tightening to confirm proper alignment.
