The CLEVELAND STEEL TOOL 26415 is a round ironworker punch designed for use in hydraulic ironworker machines. It produces clean, round holes in steel plate, angle iron, and structural steel sections. The punch measures 0.47 inches in diameter with a 1.25-inch body diameter and a 1.5-inch head diameter, giving it the seating geometry required for positive registration in compatible tooling holders. Overall length is 3.125 inches. Metal fabricators, structural steel shops, and ironworker service technicians install this type of tooling as part of routine punch-and-die setups.
This punch is sized for applications where a 15/32-inch round hole is required in steel workpieces. It is intended for use in production and job-shop environments on hydraulic ironworker stations. Compatible machines include Clausing/Metal Muncher, Controlled Automation, Franklin, Peddinghaus, and W.A. Whitney ironworkers. It suits both production runs and single-part fabrication work where consistent hole quality and dimensional accuracy are required.
Compatible with Clausing/Metal Muncher, Controlled Automation, Franklin, Peddinghaus, and W.A. Whitney ironworker machines.
Installation is performed by qualified metal fabricators or ironworker machine operators. Always de-energize and lock out the ironworker before changing punch and die tooling. Verify that the die opening matches the punch diameter and material thickness per the machine manufacturer's tooling chart before cycling the machine. Inspect the punch and die for wear, chipping, or misalignment before returning the station to service.
