Built from high speed steel (HSS) with an oxide coating, it offers moderate lubricity and corrosion resistance suited to production and maintenance drilling. The bit measures 6 mm (0.2362 inches) in diameter with an overall length of 3.661 inches and a flute length of 2.244 inches. The 118-degree standard point angle is the conventional geometry for versatile, everyday drilling. A two-flute spiral configuration with a tapered, web-thinned design reduces thrust and improves chip evacuation.
