The web-thinned, parallel web construction lowers thrust and improves chip evacuation. At 1-3/8 inches overall length, it is shorter than jobber-length bits, making it well suited for close-clearance drilling. Two spiral flutes with a right-hand cut provide efficient chip removal at standard cutting speeds.
