The CLEVELAND C56058 is a 10-24 UNC straight flute hand tap designed for cutting internal threads in metalworking applications. Built from high speed steel with a TiCN (titanium carbonitride) coating, it delivers extended tool life and reduced friction compared to uncoated HSS taps. The plug chamfer configuration makes it suitable for both through-hole and blind hole threading. With an H3 thread limit and a Class 2B fit, this tap produces threads that meet standard tolerance requirements for most general-purpose fastener applications. Overall length is 2.375 inches with a 0.5-inch thread length.
