It features a bottoming chamfer, meaning the cutting geometry begins threading very close to the bottom of a blind hole, making it the correct choice when full threads must extend to the floor of a drilled cavity. The tap has 6 flutes, a Class 3B fit, and a Thread Limit of H4. Overall length is 5.75 inches with a thread length of 2.56 inches.
