The CLEVELAND C40360 is a single-end square end mill designed for material removal operations in non-ferrous metals and similar workpiece materials. Manufactured from powdered metal (PM), this end mill offers a 1 inch cutting diameter and a 3 inch length of cut, making it well suited for slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling passes that require extended reach into a workpiece. The 42-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces. The straight-cylindrical shank with Weldon flat provides positive drive retention in standard end mill holders. Licensed machinists and CNC operators are the primary installers of this tool.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Seat the shank fully into the holder to the recommended gauge-line depth and tighten the set screw against the Weldon flat to the holder specification.
