The CLEVELAND C33192 is a 4-flute square end mill designed for general-purpose milling operations in machine shops and production environments. Built from high speed steel with a titanium nitride (TiN) finish, it delivers wear resistance and extended tool life on a range of ferrous and non-ferrous workpiece materials. The cutting diameter is 0.2188 inches (7/32 inch) with a 3/8-inch straight-cylindrical or Weldon flat shank. It runs right-hand cut with right-hand spiral flutes at a 30-degree helix angle. The centercutting geometry allows plunge entry as well as peripheral milling. Overall length is 2-7/16 inches. This tool is installed and run by machinists and CNC operators on mills, machining centers, and manual knee mills.
The C33192 belongs to the Cleveland HG-4C series, which targets regular-length general-purpose applications. It is suited for milling cast iron, steel, and non-ferrous metals including aluminum and copper alloys. Typical operations include slotting, profiling, and pocket milling where a standard-reach, 4-flute geometry provides a balance of chip clearance and surface finish. The 5/8-inch length of cut accommodates moderate-depth passes without requiring extended-reach tooling.
Designed for use in standard 3/8-inch end mill holders, collet chucks, and Weldon-style set-screw holders on vertical milling machines and CNC machining centers. Intended for cutting cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and steel as specified by the HG-4C series application ratings.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down or locked out before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the holder and torque the set screw against the Weldon flat according to the tool holder manufacturer specification. Verify runout with an indicator before beginning a production cut to protect both the tool and the workpiece.
